Services
-
We have a comprehensive understanding of the NDIS after working with people living with a disability since before the NDIS was founded. We see many NDIS participants who are plan-managed or self-managed.
If you are supported by the NDIS, you may be eligible to access Occupational Therapy and/or Exercise Physiology services.
-
Medicare services can be accessed through a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP), formerly known as the Team Care Arrangement. It entitles eligible people up to five subsidised sessions through Medicare every year.
An appropriate GP referral and paperwork is required before being able to access these rebates.
-
Exercise Physiology is covered through most Private Health insurers. It is generally best to contact your provider to determine your level of cover.
-
We see many people across a wide range of worker’s compensation and third party insurance providers. These include:
-Return To Work SA (RTWSA) / Workcover
-Self insured government organisations
-Self insured non-government organisations and businessesAppropriate referral and approval is usually required, so please contact us to discuss your personal situation.
The needs of each person living with an invisible illness are slightly different. For this reason, we offer a wide range of appointment types, including:
• In clinic
• Video consultation (telehealth)
• Telephone consultation
• Home visit

Senior Exercise Physiologist / PartnerCaelum has over 15 years of experience as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, including hospital rehabilitation, private practice and within GP clinics. Drawing on his professional and personal experience with invisible illness, he started Lofty Health and Wellness to provide allied health services specialising in helping people with:
Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome / orthostatic intolerance (POTS / OI).
Myalgic encephalomyelitis / chronic fatigue syndrome (ME / CFS).
Ehlers-Danlos syndromes / hypermobility spectrum disorders (EDS / HSD).
Fibromyalgia, small fibre neuropathy and chronic pain.
Post-acute COVID syndrome (PASC) / long COVID and other post-viral syndromes.
Other types of dysautonomia and invisible illness.
Personally, Caelum enjoys spending time with his family - wife, Molly and their 2 young children. He’s always had a passion for being active - running and playing football for many years with Norwood and Lobethal. Injury, orthostatic intolerance (OI) and fatigue forced him to choose a different form of physical activity. He now enjoys mountain biking, bush walking and gardening.
This personal experience has shaped Caelum’s passion to help other people who are living with dysautonomia and invisible illnesses. He aims to provide an empathetic, understanding and personalised approach to every patient. Empowering them with strategies, lifestyle changes and movement plans to manage their condition.
Caelum is an Industry Adjunct with the University of South Australia and enjoys contributing to Dysautonomia and POTS research with the Australian Dysautonomia and Arrhythmia Research Collaborative.
If you would like to hear more about Caelum's personal story, you can listen to the "Challenges That Change Us" Podcast Episode 127.

Senior Occupational Therapist / PartnerMolly graduated from a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of South Australia in 2013. Following her interest in adult community based Occupational Therapy, Molly has maintained work in this area since graduating, initially with Disability SA, then moving to Private Practice as funding transitioned to the NDIS. Molly has experience in a broad range of physical and neurological diagnoses which has extended to provide OT supports for those living with POTS, ME/CFS, EDS/HSD and other types of dysautonomia and invisible illness.
Molly’s knowledge and expertise includes:
Functional capacity assessment (FCA) and comprehensive reports. Molly has accreditation in Functional Independence Measurement (FIM) Assessments and experience in writing FCA’s for Plan Reviews and NDIS Access Requests under the NDIS.
Basic and complex assistive technology (AT) and equipment prescription. This includes customised seating and postural assessment, wheelchairs, powered mobility, pressure care, and off-the-shelf hand splints and compression garments among others.
Manual handling assessments, training on techniques and developing written plans.
Activities of daily living (ADL) assessments, goal setting and intervention to maximise capacity in necessary and enjoyed activities.
Home modifications, including home access, basic grab rails, steps, kitchen and bathroom modifications, and other modifications. Complex NDIS accreditation for NDIS home modifications is planned for the future.
Sensory profile, regulation and interoception supports.
Multidisciplinary support for people living with POTS, ME/CFS, EDS/HSD and other invisible illness. This may include pain management strategies, fatigue management and pacing, work simplification and energy conservation, grading activities and tasks, relaxation techniques, sleep hygiene and linking you in with appropriate supports.
On a personal note, Molly enjoys going to the gym, family walks and playground dates, spending time with family and friends, as well as eating out. Molly has strong family values, which is why she was passionate to found Lofty Health and Wellness with her husband Caelum. She demonstrates these values through compassion, honesty, attention to detail and following through to ensure care is person centred.
